Italofile is free. Since 2006, I have worked to build Italofile into an independent and expert resource for Italian travel, art, culture, living, and news.

It is my labor of love.

If you like what I do, consider supporting my work. There are a few ways you can help.

Consider making a small donation to keep my site running. Your donation will be put towards the continued maintenance of Italofile.

Italofile is a member of several affiliate programs. That means that some posts on this site contain affiliate links to books, travel and tour companies, and other items and services that may be of interest or value to my readers.

If you buy something via a link on this site, Italofile receives a small commission. You can visit the Italofile Amazon Shop to find all sorts of Made in Italy items, from toiletries to fashion to home décor and appliances. (Pssst…it’s kinda crazy how you can almost anything on Amazon these days.)

I’ve also created some easy links to some of my favorite Italian products on the Italofile Shop, such as SMEG toasters, Alessi gadgets, and Serie A soccer jerseys.

Love books? If you are trying to avoid giving your money to the behemoth that is Amazon, you can support independent booksellers via Bookshop. I’ve created a few Italy book lists on Bookshop for your perusing pleasure.

Another way to support Italofile while supporting independent artists is to browse the Italofile Shop on Etsy. There you find all sorts of beautiful items, from vintage pottery to modern jewelry.

Italofile runs on fresh content. While I have written the majority of it myself, I have occasionally opened up the site to contributions from fellow Italophiles.

Guest posts allow me to take a break from writing so that I can focus on other things like site design and research. Contributions from other writers also bring in new ideas and perspectives, thereby expanding the range of Italy destinations and experiences that Italofile is able to cover.

If you would like to write a guest post for Italofile, get in touch!
