Formed in Bergamo, Lombardy, on October 17, 1907, Atalanta BC—also known as “La Dea” (the Goddess) or the Nerazzurri (the “black-blues”)—is a mainstay of Serie A and plays its matches at the atmospheric Gewiss Stadium.
