We hope you don’t mind that we’ve been sprucing the place up a bit.
Regular readers may have noticed that we’ve slightly expanded the layout. We feel this move has given Italofile a cleaner, more polished, and readable look. Below the heading, we’ve also added information about where all the fantastic, rotating photos come from. That’d be Flickr, of course. Click on the Flickr link to check out cool photos from Italy and around the world.
We’re also happy to announce that we’ve made it easier to subscribe to Italofile, either in a reader or via e-mail. Just click on one of the orange ”feed” button in the sidebar or on the subscribe links in individual posts.
Now you can easily share interesting Italofile posts with your friends on Facebook, Digg, del.icio.us. You can also bookmark Italy travel ideas using the handy bookmark button within posts.
Finally, several readers have asked us why we didn’t have a Paypal button, so we added one of those to the sidebar, too. As we mention in the About page, this site is a labor of love. So if you feel the urge to donate, we appreciate it.
